The minister of the Russian Federation Sergei Shaigu has taken the initiative and Russia has given up part of the Kherson Oblast located on the left bank of the Dnepr river without a fight, with the main goal of saving lives of servicemen:

State Side, Elon Musk suggested (though quickly retracted his statement) that Crimea should remain in Russia.  And now, former President of the United States, George W. Bush will be holding a public conversation with President Zelensky, which "comes amid questions about the willingness of the former president’s Republican Party to maintain support for Ukraine".
