Walking to beautiful, sacred, historical treasure Miyajima island and along the way are these horrible plastic spacers in between shells used by the oyster industry alongside the road for anyone to see as they pass by. There is no sense of shame or responsibility for the plastic pollution they are putting into the oceans everyday. How can this be happening so blatantly and without any penalty or consequence in the middle of 2023?
