The above video link shows Parliamentary debate in the Lower House.  However, it is the Upper House that does not have a Labor majority.

Now is the time to lobby the Upper House demanding a Parliamentary Inquiry to investigate both the process so far and also if the merger really stands up to being in the taxpayers interest, compared to other non-merger based investments into the three unis.
