The above Times Higher Ed article states that the VC of UniSA emailed the following reason to staff on why the merger would not work:  "through a cost-benefit lens....weighed against the strategic risks, our council concluded that there is no a compelling case to support a merger. The evidence reviewed by council clearly supports the determination."


This then begs the question, what has changed since then?
