The 'Burnley Seven' (A child's 7-day bus pass) is going up in price from £13.30 to £20 a week - this is ridiculous.
TransDev/The Burnley Bus Company is not a struggling company. While costs might have risen for them, as they have for us all, The Burnley Bus Company made £1.2 million in profit over the last two years.
This rise will cost a family with two school age kids who get the bus, a massive £56 a month extra, just to get to school!
Sign my petition to demand that this fare rise is scrapped.
