Hey everyone,
Thank you so much for your support so far in the campaign to stop the wildly toxic fire ant program here in Queensland, we are really starting to get some traction and make progress with this, there are so many incredible people working together behind the scenes on this in many different capacities and each and every single one of your voices is deeply appreciated, it will be people power that stops this, standing united against the harm that is raining down on our beautiful environment.
We need to continue to put MASSIVE public pressure on this Government and make them a GLOBAL EMBARRASSMENT.
Robert Irwin from Australia Zoo has been talking about Bindi's endometriosis, it's a perfect time to educate them both as well as Australia Zoo in general about the fact that the Queensland Government are raining down poison right here on their doorstep. They call themselves Widlife Warriors, let's get on their social media pages and ask that they stand with us and use their MASSIVE influence to speak out about what's happening to our creeks, rivers, aquatic organisms, the threat to endangered Lamington crayfish (which is a federal offence), the threat to our critically threatened Platypus, harm to plants, native wildlife, livestock, pets and HUMAN HEALTH. The chemicals they are using are HORMONE DISRUPTING! Let's all jump on their social media channels and ask them to stand with us. If you know anyone else of influence or you have influence yourself on social media, please use your platform to support this campaign. We need to be heard LOUD AND CLEAR!!
Another way to create traction is through SHARING viral social media content, every single share makes a difference, no matter the size of your audience.
Some examples you can share to your stories to spread the word, as well as like, comment and tag your friends, don't underestimate the power of virality on social media, it can really be used for so much good.
Some reels you might like to share, or even create your own and share the petition link to your stories to make it super easy for people to sign.
Tania’s interview- her organic property of 27 years was poisoned, she suffered from a breakdown as a result- all 11 of her beehives are dead and gone, her dogs were poisoned. One died. https://www.instagram.com/reel/DNbxseSz88T/?igsh=dnR2YjZ0czF5aHp1
This reel showcasing the beauty and wonder of Tallebudgera and South Gold Coast is getting great traction. Keep it going by sharing, liking and commenting https://www.instagram.com/reel/DO7_nd9joBq/?igsh=djdrazYydjJibWZi
Today- busted in a conservation site where there are NO FIRE ANTS, poisoning in contradiction with their own permits https://www.instagram.com/reel/DPFSiJ4Egm1/?igsh=cnZ4OWx3dnIwejVi
This carousel is a very handy one to share to your stories so people know and understand exactly what’s happening and how they can help https://www.instagram.com/p/DNoZsYnTnuv/?igsh=bGt2ejJra3NkcDd6
Did you know they've been forced to suspend poisoning organic properties? There is also a class action on the way for the damage they've done to these organic farms.
