All indicators are currently that Councilmember Harris will not be requesting another deferral and that the TopGolf Melpomene land swap vote will occur TOMORROW during the City Council meeting.

We are so grateful for your support and for signing this petition. Because of your obvious care for the Lower Garden District neighborhood, the city of New Orleans, and your engagement in making this city better in a way that meaningfully engages ALL voices in the community, we ask that you consider sharing this petition on social media and/or via email. If your circumstances permit you to join us, we would also love to see you tomorrow at City Hall, as we know a show of numbers makes a huge difference in City Council votes. The meeting info is at the bottom of this message.

Also, if you cannot make it in person, please consider either emailing the City Council directly or submitting a public comment that will be read aloud in the City Council meeting prior to their vote. (Note: each comment is permitted to be read aloud for two minutes.) Both of these means of engagement, including instructions and all Councilmember's email addresses are included on our website here: lgdanola.com/makeyourvoiceheard

With deepest gratitude,

The Lower Garden District Association (contact@lgdanola.com)
