Sadly, monster Smullen has already stabbed another victim while out on temporary release from prison. He has been charged awaiting trial. Fortunately this time his victim survived.

The Scottish Prison Service were legally supposed to consider our view and the views of the community before deciding to reward this coward with temporary release from the prison sentence he is serving for stabbing Barry to death. They ignored both, and they ignored the facts, and this low life’s history. They gave him pocket money and sent him out to find his next victim. This is not right, knife crime is being normalised because the consequences are minimal to killers like Smullen. Our thoughts are with his latest victim.
