Hey everyone, I wanted to send a quick update on some of the push back I've received from non-signers about the petition to demand the disbanding of TCR and stating it isn't a government agency.  To clarify this point in the petition I have added the following language to it:

"We understand that The Campaign Registry is not a government agency itself, but rather a private company working along side the major carriers.  However, this organization who although purports to be "independent" is not actually independent entirely from government, rather it is an organization that gives government, by way of politicians and the intel agencies especially, some plausible deniability, indeed some distance and is in its own existence is blatantly Totalitarian in nature.

Totalitarian: a system of government that is centralized and dictatorial and requires complete subservience to the state. In the broadest sense, totalitarianism is characterized by strong central rule that attempts to control and direct all aspects of individual life through coercion and repression.

To control what people in their business capacities are allowed to say by way of written word is a fundamental definition of Totalitarianism.  The legalized method upon which TCR has been setup and allowed to operate silences voices, institutes controls and creates a declared separation from government and private business on the surface yet is clearly a joint venture of sorts to give powers to the government indirectly."
