We have slightly expanded the petition to better reflect the full picture.

Many local businesses, veterinarians, hotels and partners are already doing an outstanding job to support animals on the island. They are not the problem – they are part of the solution.

With this addition, we want to make sure that those already helping can identify with this initiative and feel confident supporting and signing it.

Because real change can only happen together.

At the same time, we are now moving into the next phase.

We are currently building a dedicated social media presence for this initiative.
For this, we have formed a team from the participating organisations to coordinate content, communication and outreach.

This will allow us to reach more people, share information more effectively, and continue building momentum.

We are also aware that some of you experienced issues while signing the petition, such as not receiving confirmation emails or difficulties accessing the link.

Please don’t worry.

In many cases, signatures are already counted even without a confirmation email.
