I want to thank each and every supporter that signed to try to give Sonic our K9 Officer the a voice that he deeply needs as well as deserved!

I’m so sorry to say I failed!!! 😞 I failed you all! 😔 But most of all Sonic!!! 😥💔. I spend 4 weeks everyday calling, emailing & texting every rescue, authority agency & even pleading with the council members/city.  Never a response except trust us he’s fine.  So for my last action I filled out an agenda request last Wednesday as the city asked me to do.  Thursday I got a copy of the agenda.  My name was not on it….. nor was K9 Officer Sonic so I went to the city office to discuss it & the city administration Cameron came out & said he would be reading a prepared statement during his monthly report.  He also said there would be a meeting on Friday before the final agenda would be released @ 4:30.  He would email me & let me know.  No email & no copy of the agenda til 8:00.  To find out they silenced me.  Took my first freedom right away!!!  Also defying the laws in the state of Nebraska Open door meeting laws.  So what I needed to say would not be needed. As I explained all about petition the signatures/voices that have a right to be heard he shrugged his shoulders as he returned to his office.  That being said I’m upset & hurt by this entire process.  Is to say to anyone out there thinking these special hard working officers have No right to be treated humanely.  I really can’t believe there is absolutely nobody that protects the noble officers.  As the attorney general of Nebraska stated. No crime was committed.  He is a city asset, they own & can do what they want.  Just like a mower that the mayor compared him to!  Note:  I will be sending copies of the petition & supporters.  One last ditch effort.🙏🤞🙏🤞🙏🤞🙏

I think so differently about this now and caution others as citizens when you raise $43,587.81 to donate anything to the city find out how you can protect it first. Like any citizen felt this is how this would go! Thanks again. I loved talking & getting ideas as well as stories.  There is a hope for human humanity!💔❤️💔❤️💔❤️
