Hi everyone,
Firstly, a MASSIVE thank you to each and every one of you who has signed and supported this petition so far. Your voice truly matters... and together, we’re starting to build real momentum toward long-overdue change.
As many of you know, TMJ dysfunction is an incredibly widespread yet shamefully neglected condition within the healthcare system... especially here in the UK. The goal of this petition is simple: to get the NHS and healthcare institutions to take TMJ seriously, see the body as an interconnected system, establish proper screening and treatment pathways, and finally stop leaving patients to suffer in silence. And with enough traction, this effort could echo globally 🌍🫂
💥 We’ve now hit 50 signatures, and every single one brings us a step closer to being heard by MPs, NHS leaders, and hopefully even journalists who are willing to cover this.
🔁 Here’s how you can help next:
1. Share the petition 🔗 with friends, family, colleagues — anyone. Post it on social media. The more people see it, the harder it becomes to ignore.
2. Email your MP 📧 and ask them to back NHS recognition and proper treatment for TMJ disorders.
3. Speak up 🗣️ Whether it’s on forums, social media, or blogs — sharing your story helps others realise they’re not alone. It also puts pressure on the system.
🧠 TMJ is definitely not a rare or niche problem... despite what many of us have been led to believe. It’s a widespread medical blindspot affecting thousands of lives, not just physically, but emotionally, mentally and financially. It's time to change that.
Let’s keep going. Let’s be loud. Let’s make sure decision-makers can’t keep turning away 👀
Thank you so much again for standing with us 🤝🙏💪
