Deputy Mayer Keim and (our district council Representative) called me today to acknowledge that the Speeding on Cameo Dr. concerns from myself and neighbors is being heard by the city. Some of you may have noticed more of a Police Presence pulling cars over on Cameo, this is a result of the waves we are making there. We are not stopping there though, although a police presence helps catch some people in the short term, it is a temporary solution, and we are looking for a permanent one. I spent about a ½ hour on the phone with Mr. Keim and told him that we are not walking away from this until we have a permanent solution. 

So, I am now in touch with all of the right people from the city to get this addressed. We have over 100 signatures on our petition, and I know that we are #12 out of 400 traffic suppression requests in the city. They are passing a budget in July to begin addressing those in order, and I am doing everything I can to make sure we get our situation addressed before the end of the year or within a reasonable amount of time, and also to see if we can get higher up on that list as this is the 3rd attempt by neighbors over the past 10 years to request this and is a continuing and worsening situation everyday nothing is done.
