Housing stated that the DA Job is still a student job. Regardless to the matter, Sodexo has not proven itself well after taking over the other departments. Sodexo maintenance workers have proven to be unprofessional. Sodexo workers never wear anything that distinguishes them, which would potentially cause confusion. The petition still stands. I am not discriminating against Sodexo workers by race or any other means, I’m simply going by Sodexo statement on their website that they pledge “Committed to Employing Ex-Offenders”. Basic research shows that people from other campuses where Sodexo shows that they expressed the same concerns. This is not prejudice or discriminatory but solely based on my own assumptions from what I’ve witnessed and dealt with.
sodexo had a history with whitesands missle range. Their contract was terminated. Sodexo workers were sharing security clearness passes with friends and family. Multiple instances of drug use by Sodexo employees was also reported.
also their construction workers are horrifying in terms of quality of work.
