Thanks to everyone who supported this petition to halt the sectarian Orange Order parade in Stonehaven. Councillors voted today to prohibit the parade. The overwhelming opposition to it was a demonstration of people power and local democracy at its best. Stoney said no; and the councillors of our community reflected that in their unanimous vote.
