Only 4 weeks to go - please help with Legal Costs to fight this & need 177 more signing Petition
Valued Supporters
It is now only 4 weeks until the Judicial Review, and we have only raised $1950 of the $500,000 to pay for it. We could lose 4000 affordable safe CBD carparks!
We only have 9823 signatures on this Petition and need 177 more to get to 10,000 by then.
PLEASE can you help. See what you can do below.
A Summary to date: A Judicial Review is looming on 5th August- to stop the Undervalued Sale and Demolition of the Downtown Carpark (the safest carpark in CBD) and overbridge up to Hobson St. 1,944 carparks going.
We will also lose 2,000 carparks next to Tepid Baths- these will be taken for Commercial Bay, and we will have to pay more, if there is space.
Crime is increasing and also Parking costs - and car parks are reducing. Police now have a 24/7 Bobby route in the CBD to give us confidence -K Rd, Q.St & along Viaduct.
Council have ignored an offer for more than $300ml more, that would build in top of the carpark, and thus save 1500 carparks for the public, and lower our rates. This is illegal and so we have taken legal action to review it.
Please can you help with a Givealittle donation-

Thank you for your help. Pray this works for the sake of all Aucklanders.
