Carpark Sale IS on the Agenda for next week! 23rd November! Please email your local Councillor

Hi valuable supporters
Thank you so much for pushing hard on sharing this petition. So proud to be up to 9105 signatures '-)) Wow!!
This week there was another Herald Article with Images of proposed Twin Towers on this Carpark Site! Here is the unlocked link:
Also this week, some supporters trudged up and down Queen St & the Viaduct, and got 122 businesses to sign a sub-petition, to say they were concerned for their business, if these 2000 carparks disappeared. We would have obtained approx 100 more, but many were manned by junior staff who were concerned, but could not sign on behalf of the business. It was a challenging mission, and very grateful to them.
However, it has NOT BEEN SOLD YET! the Councillors have to approve the sale, and presently we only just have the majority on our side. However, this is very fragile, and we need to keep pushing- it could go either way! We don't give up, until the 'fat lady sings', as they say.
The Sale of the Carpark IS ON NEXT WEEK'S AGENDA at the Governing Body Meeting. This looks like the Councillors will have to vote to sell or not. Andrew Krukziener will be presenting his excellent report, against the sale, at this meeting.
What you can do:
1 We would dearly like to get to 10,000 by next week's meeting. Please can all new signees SHARE to all friends/family/social media- to all your Email Contacts would be ideal - (see my last updates for detailed instructions on how to do this).
2 Please write a quick email to your local Councillor, telling them what you think of the planned sale of this key carpark in such a strategic site, for Auckland's future transport hub plans. (We don't even have a MasterPlan for Auckland CBD - so they really are flying blind, and now selling off the Key Assets!!) See email addresses below. Please do it NOW - takes 5 min, and it WILL HELP HUGELY.
3 Also, if you could send a Letter to the Editor of the Herald or any other publication, objecting to this poor decision, then it would really help, thanks.
Thank you once again.
Kindest regards
Shery
