We did it!!

The proposed rezoning of Parcel #3 at the corner of Roselle and Glow has been stopped.

At one point, it truly felt like we were going to lose this vote. But because people stayed engaged and continued to speak up, everything shifted.

Luis Uribe spoke multiple times on behalf of the community and pushed to have the pasture parcel removed from the rezoning proposal. After continued discussion, Councilwoman Stacy Call stood up for her constituents, and Councilmember John Pimentel supported removing the parcel as well.

With the mayor abstaining, and Cindy Fosi and Mayor Rachael Hernandez voting no, the final vote came down to 3–2…

And the pasture parcel will be removed from rezoning.

This didn’t happen by accident — it happened because this community showed up.

Thank you to everyone who:
• Signed the petition
• Shared updates
• Reached out to the council
• Attended and spoke at meetings

Every single action mattered.

This was about protecting our neighborhood, preserving the pasture so many families care about, and making sure decisions are based on real conditions — not assumptions.

If you have a moment, please consider thanking the council members who took the time to listen and represent our community.

This is a win for all of us. 🙏🎉
