Here's the quick and dirty:

• Registration is open for the Wednesday, 2/15 community meeting at Nashville State at 6 pm CST. A livestream will also be available. (You MUST register for this one).
• AJ Capital, the developer seeking rezoning of the Belle Meade Plaza, continues to fill our lives with outrageous but predictable shenanigans.
• We're so close to 2,000 signatures, so please keep sharing!
• No SP for BMP team member, Kate Parrish, tells Fox 17 Nashville that "this whole thing reeks of gentleman handshakes and backroom deals."
• Between AJ Capital and Councilwoman Kathleen Murphy, it only took FOUR tries to get us the CORRECT information about the 2/15 community meeting. Pitiful and downright disrespectful of our time, schedules and energy. 
• The location of the 2/15 community meeting has been moved to a space with max capacity of 300 despite the fact that our meetings usually bring 400+ people. It's a direct attempt to reduce the strength of our collective voice.
• We have not been given an agenda for the 2/15 community meeting, so we have no idea if community members (for or against) will be allowed to speak.
• AJ Capital gave their Belle Meade Plaza Redevelopment website a "facelift," removing all mentions of the word "Capital" since perhaps it gives too much away about their real motives. Distancing yourself from your own brand? That's how you know you're up to no good! 
• Councilwoman Kathleen Murphy is NOT managing the Eventbrite account that's already been used for three community meetings and which asks for your name, address and contact information. Who's behind it? Either AJ Capital, their hired guns The Strategy Group, or one of their lobbyists. No one other than our elected official should have access to that information.
