Hello Neighbors, Supporters and Friends!

We have an exciting update and news to share.  This week Panattoni revealed their new plan for the Phillip Road Site formerly known as the Roseville Industrial Park Site.  When we first started this journey in early 2023, there were just a handful of people getting the word out to the rest of us.  That turned into a massive meeting at our local church where hundreds of people showed up and voiced their opposition to the proposed industrial park which would have been a blight in our beautiful residential neighborhood.  From that meeting, more people took action, including myself by creating this petition. Others created signs, stickers, flyers, t-shirts, Nextdoor and Facebook Groups, all in hopes of gaining traction to stop the development of the industrial park.  One group started a coalition to save and preserve the space. We hosted small meetings in our homes with Panattoni to discuss our views.  We were promised by Panattoni that they would take our words and thoughts seriously and create something better for that space.  At that time we had our doubts, I mean, what developer really cared about the community where they wanted to put mega warehouses?  Would they really listen?   

Last night my husband and I went to the open house where Panattoni presented the new vision for the site.  Not only was the industrial park gone from it's original rendering but it had been replaced with housing and more of an office park, technology center section in lieu of warehouses.  I don't usually cry when I see planning documents, but this time I did.  I was overjoyed to see the changes and progress that we as a community implemented.

They DID listen.  

We as a group, made this happen.  We shouted and fought, and we won.   Depicted above is the new plan and the original plan for the site.  The change is so significant. 

I want to thank all of you for your support, comments, time and funds that you gave to this petition.  With YOU, our voices were amplified and we were heard.   At this time, I'm closing this petition as a victory.
