Yes! The fight for Titchfield Post Box had coverage in The Telegraph, Daily Mail, the BBC, and on Sky News!
I cannot find a link to the Sky News article but it was on Sunday, 23rd Nov. at 8:15am if anyone has a way to track it down, please contact me at jimandlynmobley@yahoo.com

I also believe that there will be (or just was) coverage from ITV and will post an update upon confirmation.
Additionally, our local MP, Paul Holmes wrote to the Royal Mail but sadly recieved a negative response. He writes: "I’ve had many constituents get in touch regarding the Royal Mail’s plan to introduce a new solar powered digital post box in Titchfield. I have been in contact with the Royal Mail, pleading for a reprieve for the post box outside of the post office. Titchfield has a rich history of being yarn bombed by the fabulous Titchfield Yarnbombers, particularly for special events and I am keen to keep this tradition.
I’m disappointed to read that the Royal Mail is planning to go ahead with the new solar powered digital post box in Titchfield. I will continue to put up a fight on this."
Lastly, Titchfield Village Trust wrote to the Royal Mail offering to purchase the current post box and re-site it in front of the Village Hall; however, they have not yet had a response.
I am not sure of the date that the Royal Mail intends to finalise the post box replacement; hence, I feel we should finalise this petition soon. Unfortunately, it seems that Facebook's algorithms restrict who sees the posts containing the petition because you would think that, with the news coverage and the general consensus in the Voice 4 Titchfield group, we would have more than just over 400 signatures, right? I will keep trying, though, and I appreciate your help in sharing far and wide :)
