What you see here is the proposed new  Murray BESS at Khancoban , YES, the head waters of the  Murray River. Another 500MW lithium battery. Talbingo is at the head waters of the Murrumbidgee River ?
I drove to Khancoban yesterday and was able to glean some very good intel from locals as to the “new concept”.  It was interesting to find out that a  local construction company was building a new “transportable” community accommodation area in town which will house up to 84 contractors, which surprised me and suggested that “something else” was coming to town and could leave town quite readily as well?  Does make you wonder? Perhaps the Labor Party are not as discreet as first thought? It just so happens that with the available accommodation already in town and nearby. This project would satisfy the accomodation requirements for this “proposed” project!  Nothing to see here. This only reinforces my attempt to have this Bill removed and to stop this lunacy. This could shut down agricultural communities.
