In a recent online poll conducted by 6buzz, 84% of respondents expressed opposition to the Toronto District School Board's (TDSB) decision to rename three Toronto schools. Only 7% of participants supported the renaming, while 9% suggested allowing residents to select new names.

With over 12,000 respondents, the poll represents a robust data set of community opinion. The results clearly reflect a prevailing sentiment among residents: the TDSB should avoid politicizing history and instead refocus on its primary responsibilities—delivering quality education, maintaining safe environments, and ensuring schools remain in good repair.
