Hi everyone,

Here is further information about Saturday’s protest.

We are protesting BusConnects changes to Chapelizod. Our reliable, direct 26 bus has been cut and replaced with the completely unsuitable 80, leaving our community isolated.

*Meet*: Chapelizod Village Square at *11 am on Saturday*

*Route*: From the village square, we will march through Maiden Row to Chapelizod Bridge where we will block traffic for one hour.
We have protest volunteers who will empty the bridge of oncoming traffic before the arrival of protesters.

*Bring*: Signs protesting Chapelizod Bus cuts and warm clothing!

*During protest*: We will have addresses from Cllr. Ray Cunningham, Cllr. Madeleine Johansson and members of the community.

*Duration*: The protest will be finished by 12:00. 

*Safety and Security*: Ballyfermot Gardaí have been informed of the protest and will facilitate it, to ensure safety and security of all participants.

We have had great media interest: the Pat Kenny Show today, and stories in the works in the Southside People and the Irish Times.
