I received your email notifying me of the petition in opposition of Assembly Bill 1038 that would allow the California Fish & Game Commission to create bear hunting seasons during which people would be allowed to use dogs. I appreciate the opportunity to respond to this petition.

Assembly Bill 1038, authored by Assembly Member Heather Hadwick, was assigned to the Assembly Committee on Water, Parks, and Wildlife. It can be heard on or after March 23.
