Discontinuation of the Oxford Street East Cycleway (OSEC)
Discontinuation of the Oxford Street East Cycleway (OSEC) project to build a primary cycleway link between Taylor Square and Centennial Park petition.
Your help is needed again.
Thank you for supporting my change.org petition Stop the Proposed Oxford Street, Paddington Cycleway. With your help the petition achieved 3539 signatures – a great result.
However, the battle to stop the cycleway is still not over. I am now writing to let you know that I have lodged an upgraded petition (Discontinuation of the Oxford Street East Cycleway (OSEC) project to build a primary cycleway link between Taylor Square and Centennial Park) on the NSW Parliament (Legislative Assembly) website.
This new petition is held on Parliament’s web site, where it can be accessed and signed by any NSW resident over the age of 18 years who provides a name and email address. The link is below. This information is never disclosed but may be used to keep signatories up to date on the progress of the petition. The petition aims to reach 20,000 signatories. When this occurs the Parliament’s Legislative Assembly will debate the issues raised in the petition.

I am therefore asking for your help again.
Please access the Parliament site and sign the petition, and consider sending this information to anyone (family, friends, business contacts, customers) who you think will be impacted by the cycleway. Every signature is welcome and valued and will help us to reach our target.
Many thanks.
Kind Regards,
Phil Ingram
