Sharing a quick update on the proposed telecom facility at the Encino Lake Tennis Club.

At the recent hearing, the City granted a continuance, which is a meaningful step. This means no decision has been made, and the project is still under active review.

During this time, the City will be taking a closer look at several key issues that have been raised by the community, including:

Fire safety given the site’s designation as a Very High Fire Hazard Severity Zone
Accuracy of the applicant’s mapping, visibility, and proximity data
Whether this is truly the least impactful feasible location
The potential long-term impact of future expansion and additional equipment
This continuance gives both the City and the community time to ensure that any decision is based on complete, accurate, and independently verified information.
