Saturday's 9am board meeting. Packed with residents speaking AGAINST the Plaza AGAIN.
There were about 15 who spoke publicly; only one in favor, the others imploring the board to STOP this slip-lane plaza project and LISTEN TO the RESIDENTS. One young father eloquently stated that IF there is a silent majority in favor of this, then give them the anonymity of the ballot box by PUTTING this PLAZA, that is dividing our community, to a VOTE. It is only fair to this board and fair to those in favor and those NOT in favor, the ones who KEEP showing up at the meetings, asking this board to STOP this reckless, and now ugly with bollards, project. Put it on the BALLOT because those of us who see this as a massive safety hazard, will not stop clambering about it, despite the boards efforts yesterday, to shut down stating FACTS.
