Congratulations everyone!

Our petition to the BBC to stop the planned closure of the BBC Singers now has OVER 150,000 signatures. 

This is a significant achievement, and it has been because of your persistence that this petition has been signed by supporters all around the world. 

What happens next?

Next week the Musicians’ Union will go into formal talks with the BBC regarding the future of the BBC Singers. Immediately prior to these talks, the petition will be presented to the BBC at Broadcasting house in support of the ensemble on behalf of the 150,000 and more signatories. 

There will be another update to confirm exactly when the petition will close.
