This response is really not helping out. We could give up now or keep going. They have sent me a response and here it is.

ECCC is the official source of weather information in the country. The department provides forecasts and weather alerts continuously, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, to help ensure the safety of the Canadian population and the protection of property.

The technology used to run Weatheradio and Hello Weather is now obsolete, which entails increased operating costs and reduced reliability of these services. Therefore, a decision has been made to discontinue these services, while pursuing more sustainable and effective solutions.”

This could mean WRC/Hello Weather is not coming back due to Carney’s budget cuts. 

I have gave them a recommendation to see if they could try to probably talk to NOAA ( so they can the system or to help ECCC) But, if they can’t. This would mean that WRC is gone for good.
