I wanted to provide an important update regarding the proposed housing development at Land East of Broadleaf Park, Rownhams.

The outline planning application has now been formally submitted, and this is a critical stage where public comments and objections can directly influence the outcome.

Despite the concerns already raised by residents, the proposal still includes:
- Access through existing residential roads (Babey Avenue and Shutler Close)  
- Increased traffic and pressure on local infrastructure  
- Impact on wildlife, woodland, and the surrounding countryside  
- Flood risk and drainage concerns  

This is our opportunity to make our voices heard.

The number of objections received is extremely important. The council must consider all planning concerns raised, especially where there is strong local opposition.
