Dear all,
I hope you’re well.
I wanted to provide an important update regarding the proposed housing development at Land East of Broadleaf Park, Rownhams.
The outline planning application has now been formally submitted, and this is a critical stage where public comments and objections can directly influence the outcome.
Despite the concerns already raised by residents, the proposal still includes:
- Access through existing residential roads (Babey Avenue and Shutler Close)
- Increased traffic and pressure on local infrastructure
- Impact on wildlife, woodland, and the surrounding countryside
- Flood risk and drainage concerns
This is our opportunity to make our voices heard.
📝 What you can do
Please take a few minutes to submit your comments (objection) on the application using the link below:
You don’t need to write anything complicated — even a short, personal objection highlighting your concerns will help.
⚠️ Why this matters
The number of objections received is extremely important. The council must consider all planning concerns raised, especially where there is strong local opposition.
If we want to protect our community, roads, environment, and local services, we need as many people as possible to respond.
🤝 Please share If you know neighbours, friends, or family who may be affected, please forward this message to them and encourage them to submit a comment as well.
We’ve already shown how strong this community is by coming together now we need to take the next step.
If anyone needs help with what to write, feel free to reach out and I’ll be happy to assist.
Thank you again for your support we can still make a difference if we act together.
Kind regards,
Steve
