Your response to our petition overnight has been overwhelming. We had a goal of 1000 signatures in ten days but we will have that many in the next few hours.

Let's not stop there - another 1000 by the end of the week will show decision-makers how strongly our community, and people all over the country, feel about the issues at stake in Tairāwhiti.

It's been great to see locals leaders step up and endorse the petition and the call for action by regional and national decision-makers. Encourage respected local leaders you know to look into the issues and support an independent inquiry into the situation that has got us here and what can be done about it.
