The Frome Town Council Planning Meeting on 19th March decided to defer a decision for 6 months pending reports by the Highways and Flood authorities.

However the Local Lead Flood Authority (LLFA) were unaware of the flooding that happened in Oldford due to runoff from Oldford Hill and Windsbatch Hill on 4th January 2024. They are aware now.

This is because nobody reported it or knew how to. If your property was affected by that flood, or previous ones, and especially if you have any pictures you can file a retrospective report here: FORT - Home as well as adding a comment to  the planning application.
