We still need your support as we anticipate that this year will be a very serious year for RSV, and despite all the evidence, there haven’t been any policy changes. Inuit babies are at increased risk becoming critically ill with RSV this season.

Recently there have been outbreaks and increased hospitalizations in Quebec and Ottawa, earlier and at much higher rates than what we typically see. There have also been RSV outbreaks in Asia, Australia, in the United States - which gives us an indication of how bad it will be this year in Canada.
 
Inuit babies need to be designated as High Risk to receive life-saving RSV immunization. Frankly, if these were non-Indigenous babies, with all the evidence, this would have happened a decade ago. Please continue to share this petition change.org/FairMedicine
