As we step into the new year, we wanted to make sure you didn’t miss a reflection we’ve just shared on what Compassion in Politics has been working on over the past twelve months.

It has been a demanding year for democracy. Trust is fragile, protest rights are under pressure, and division is being actively fuelled. In response, our small team has focused on practical, compassionate work to defend democratic space and modernise politics so it can genuinely serve people.

In our end of year message, we share highlights from across the UK and internationally, including our work in Parliament, progress on truth in politics, defending the right to protest, convening unlikely allies, and taking compassionate politics into the mainstream.
