Politics shapes not only our lives here in the UK but has consequences far beyond our borders. Decisions made in Parliament ripple across communities worldwide. Too often, those decisions are guided by convenience or expedience rather than care, kindness, and compassion.
Our adversarial parliamentary system exacerbates conflict and fuels hate. It also results in a situation where politicians are forced to place party loyalty above their own conscience and the wellbeing of citizens.
At Compassion in Politics, we believe another way is possible. We are building a movement committed to putting compassion at the heart of politics—here at home and in the world we share. But we cannot do it alone.
I am asking you to join our movement. Membership is a commitment: a promise to stand for politics that treats every person with dignity, that values life, and that takes responsibility for the impact of our choices globally. As the world tilts dangerously on its axis our work is more urgent than ever.
As a member, you will:
- Receive monthly briefings and insights on campaigns, research, and issues that matter—both nationally and internationally.
- Engage in live discussions with experts, policymakers, and thought leaders shaping compassionate politics.
- Take part in events and workshops designed to inspire action and deepen understanding of politics that cares.
By becoming a member, you are joining a community of people determined to ensure that our political system is not only effective but principled, ethical, and compassionate—at home and across the globe.
Please, stand with us today. Together, we can show that politics can be strong in principle and kind in practice.
With gratitude and determination,
Jennifer Nadel
