VICTORY UPDATE: AES Withdraws the Jewelflower Battery Storage Proposal!

We have incredible news to share: AES has announced that it will no longer be moving forward with the Jewelflower Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project.

When this proposal was introduced, our community came together to demand safety, transparency, and accountability. From school board meetings to state-level advocacy—and with crucial support from State Senator Dave Cortese, Assembly Member Gail Pellerin & the Santa Clara Valley Open Space Authority—your signatures, letters, and public comments ensured our concerns could not be ignored.
