Please can you help support a new UK government petition which has just been set up to stop megasheds being built and operated 24/7 close to homes and communities anywhere in the UK.
At present developers are using loopholes and targeting week councils, building these enormous warehouses as distribution hubs on green space around rural communities, which when rented out will make them big profits and if empty a tax right off!
The local council can not charge rates if empty, if rented out the council only gets a third of the rates, while the local communities pay by having their land scape and skyline obliterated!
The developers use a just in time technique to get the planning permission push through before the local communities have change to make any objections also the planning application will not show up on searches until the very last minute by which time it has all been approved!
These mega warehouses can appear at anytime next to your community, the first you will know about it is when you see green fields being ploughed up!
So it is very important to sign the link below, if the petition gets to 10,000 signature the government have to respond, if the petition get to 100,000 then it will have to be debated.
