Local councillor is aware of our concerns

Thank you everyone who has signed so far. I never expected to get this much momentum. There appears to be several people that are pro this McDonald’s development, which is fine they are entitled to that opinion as are we. However, a news article is expected to be released which will share the petition further in the local area.

Furthermore, I have spoken to the local councillor Tom Deakin at the taunton town meeting this evening, he is the councillor of Obridge , and he is aware of any concerns. The  premise of our chat was that more people that contact and complain and visibility this gets, the more likely we can impede and restrict the billion dollar company and prevent them from making our lives hell. 

For this reason, if you could let as many people aware of this petition, the more likely we can have a say about this. You may see some posters appearing in the local area too, which gives a QR code directly to this petition, if they are not torn down, which we saw happen this evening.
