Hey Everyone!
There has been some radio silence for a good few weeks for various reasons. On a positive note, over 33,700 good people have signed the petition and this cannot be overlooked as significant message to City Hall.
Running a number of consecutive Facebook campaigns over several months can exact a significant impact on a person’s well-being and I suffered as a result. So I had a 6 week absence from all social media to gather my thoughts.
I am going to proceed with the next action points:
- I will leave the petition open until 1st December.
- I will not be advocating any form of political unrest or tunnel traffic disruptive protests. I’m not going to jail on my own!!
- I am seeking assistance of amenable political parties to debate the application of tolls on both current and future Thames tunnels. The final London Assembly debate takes place in December with the purpose of approving the toll scheme based upon the TfL consultation feedback. Forgive my cynicism, but given that Labour has the majority in the London assembly, this is a foregone conclusion (unfortunate as it seems, but people voted for this arrangement).
- I am closing down the “Go-fund-me” page, because zero funds were raised.
I will continue to keep you updated what is going on and maybe we can make a difference! If there is anything you would like to make me aware of or just send me comments, please email:

Liam
