Three weeks ago, we submitted our first application to Hobsons Bay City Council demonstrating existing use rights for one of the five blocks of units at Techno Park.

On Thursday, Council approved that application, finally recognising that the long-term use of the units as homes makes it legal for people to live in them regardless of zoning.

Thank you to all of you in the community who have stood up for and stood by us across the last two years. This is an example of what is possible when we come together and refuse to accept decisions that will harm people.

We are working towards finalising our applications for the remaining four blocks, and hope to submit them shortly too.
