We want to thank you all for helping protect this unique piece of the British Coast

We are very grateful and pleased, as are the residents of Keyhaven, that the organisers have taken the decision to cancel Marshtival.
We want to be clear that this was never about the organisers or their vision for the project. It was about protecting a unique and fragile habitat — the Keyhaven and Hurst reserves — which are already under significant pressure from climate change, rising sea levels, and habitat loss. Events of this scale risk disturbing nesting and migrating birds and further stressing an ecosystem that has very little margin left to absorb additional impact.
We recognise the effort and creativity the organisers put into the proposal, and we hope they understand this decision reflects our shared responsibility to protect this landscape for future generations.
