We wanted to share an update from the Toronto and East York Community Council meeting on Tuesday! 

Community council followed City Staff’s recommendations and voted against the Kingsett condo application for 1304-1318 King Street!!!!! A final vote will happen on May 22nd with City Council but we are hopeful they will follow with the same vote!!  

Thank you to everyone who shared and signed the petition! Councillor Gord Perks shared the petition at the Community Council meeting. Our voices were heard! 

Although this is great and motivating news, the fight is not over. It is likely Kingsett will likely go to the Province to appeal this decision so we ask you to stay tuned for more information to get involved!
