In a surprising twist, NatureScot has decided to quietly publish its detailed licensing data, in spite of telling me just last month that it wouldn't be 'viable' to process it.

I can only assume that NatureScot's change of heart was the result of pressure from our campaign - so well done everyone!
This extra transparency can only be a good thing, even if the data makes for depressing reading at times.
