Well I'm happy to bring you some good news in this update!

Natural England's new interim operations director has been in touch with me to say that full licensing statistics will be published online as promised early next month, and moreover has pledged that annual declarations containing details of all licences issued by the agency will be made available for public scrutiny every March from now on.
Although there is much more work to do, I'm sure you'll agree that this long awaited action bodes well, and I'm hopeful of making further progress with our campaign in 2020.
Now, I'll take this opportunity to wish you all a happy festive season and a great new year.
