They approved the destruction of nearly 2,000 Swan eggs between 2014 and 2018.

Support for the petition continues to grow, we have exceeded 352,000 signatures as I write, though the major national media coverage I had been expecting has not yet materialised. The Daily Mirror was supposed to be publishing an article about issues raised through our campaign.... but it hasn't happened yet.
Meanwhile there are a variety of ideas being put forward by supporters to highlight the petition, including the possibility of a peaceful demonstration at some point. My feeling is that we need to reach 500,000 signatures before we should consider that, perhaps handing over our petition at the same time, hopefully with a great deal of media attention to bring the matter to wide public attention.
So, in the meantime, please keep sharing, I do believe we can reach the 500,000 goal and maybe even beyond.
