Hi folks,
Just to let you know that I have now received the results of two further FOI requests.
You can read about it all on my blog: HERE
Natural England granted these particular licences in the name of 'science, research and education.'
Although the numbers of birds involved are not as high as the shocking figures we have seen with some other species, this killing for scientific research still doesn't sit comfortably with me.
On the other hand, perhaps you feel these licences are justified... either way you can leave a comment here or on my blog. I'd like to hear your opinions, as always.
The number of signatures for our petition is still hovering just under the 350,000 mark, I'd love to see a big push towards our next goal of 500,000. Just imagine that, half a million voices for change. I am confident that we can do it! So please keep on sharing.
Once again I'd like to thank you for your many messages and support, I really am sorry that I can't answer them all individually, but I can assure you that all of them are read and appreciated so much.
Best,
Jase
p.s. there was a problem getting earlier updates out to you all by email. Hopefully - if you are reading this - that problem has now been resolved!
