Hi folks,
I was hoping to have some kind of statement from Natural England to share with you, regarding their Herring Gull licences - I asked them a few days ago, pointing out that 346,000+ supporters of our petition would be appreciative of an explanation as to exactly why the agency has approved the shooting of this red listed species - but so far my request seems to have fallen on deaf ears...

Trying to get answers from Natural England really is like wading through treacle though I did get an assurance out of them that the implementation of an annual publication of all licences issued in the previous twelve months is still on schedule from the end of this year - something that came about as a direct result of our campaign.
