Just a quick update, hope you are all enjoying a good holiday weekend.

So, last night our petition reached 300,000 signatures!

As you know, we have already brought about a major change in policy as a direct result of the petition. Natural England have agreed to publish annual statistics detailing all licences, which will be available for public scrutiny.

But this is just the first step.

I'll be hearing from the Director of Operations at Natural England again within the next week or so with some more information I've requested about some specific licences.
And from there we will push for more transparency and clarity within their licencing system.
