**we have the belvoir castle one cancelled but it  has now been moved to Buxton.. let’s get a wide ban on these horrid irresponsible things!!**

These lanterns are unsafe to livestock, properties and crops. Many animals have been killed by burns from these lanterns also properties burnt down. The event organisers are saying they are using biodegradable lanterns now, but these are still not safe. They do not degrade instantly therefore animals still eat them causing internal damage. Also the bamboo now being used instead of the wire cannot easily be seen therefore there being bales into the hay and straw which then the livestock are eating, again causing internal damage. Please help us by signing this petition to get this event stopped.
